Minister Uraloğlu stated that they designed the Ezine-Bayramiç-Çan Junction Road as a single road with a length of 60 kilometers, featuring bituminous hot mix-coated standard. "Within the project scope, there were also the 3.5-kilometer-long Bayramiç Ring Road and the 2.5-kilometer-long Etili Ring Road. Today, we are opening the first 28 kilometers of the Ezine-Bayramiç-Çan Road, including the Bayramiç Ring Road, and the 6-kilometer-long section covering the Etili Ring Road, totaling 34 kilometers. In the section opened today, there are two bridges with a total length of 91 meters. With this road, we have improved the transportation standard between the districts of Çanakkale," he said.

Uraloğlu emphasized that with the ring roads, they ensure the rapid, safe, and uninterrupted passage of heavy-duty vehicles in the region where agriculture, livestock activities, and ceramic factories are concentrated, without entering the city. He also added that by converting the road surface to bituminous hot mix-coated, they enhance transportation comfort..

Uraloğlu stated that with the project, they will save a total of 52.1 million lira annually, comprising 44.4 million lira from time and 7.7 million lira from fuel costs. Additionally, he mentioned that they will contribute to environmental preservation by reducing carbon emissions by 964 tons.

Uraloğlu emphasized their efforts in alleviating the traffic congestion in the region, where an average of 18,000 vehicles pass daily, with the Sarıcaeli-Teknopark Interchange. He continued his speech by stating: "The expansion of residential areas and the increase in population and vehicle traffic rendered the existing underpass insufficient. To meet this growing need, we constructed a new underpass here, 12 meters wide and 6 meters high. We built 1-kilometer-long intersection arms and renewed the asphalt overlay of the 1-kilometer section of the state road in this segment. We provided fast and high-standard access from the Lapseki-Çanakkale-Ezine State Road to the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Technopark Campus, Sarıcaeli Village, surrounding educational institutions, and residences. With our interchange project, we achieved annual savings of 87 million lira, comprising 72 million lira from time and 15 million lira from fuel costs. Furthermore, we contributed to environmental conservation by reducing carbon emissions by 180 tons. I wish both of our projects, especially for the people of Çanakkale, to be auspicious and beneficial for our entire region."

Ahmet Gülşen, during his speech at the ceremony, highlighted the main components of the projects, stating that a total of 1,420,000 cubic meters of earthwork, 10,000 cubic meters of concrete, 385,000 tons of cement-treated base and subbase, and 180,000 tons of hot mix asphalt were carried out. Additionally, he mentioned that 1,150 trees were planted, contributing to greening an area of 15,000 square meters.

Gülşen emphasized that through the investments implemented by the General Directorate of Highways, they have made residential areas accessible nationwide with comprehensive and high-standard road networks. He added that these investments have contributed significantly to various areas, including balanced regional development, improvement of health and education services, enhancement of tourism potential, and the initiation of reverse migration processes.
