The General Directorate of Highways has made significant strides in the construction of bridges across the country in recent years.
Under the scope of bridge construction activities, between 2003 and May 2023, a total of 3,748 bridges, spanning a length of 434 km, have been completed. As a result, the total number of bridges serving in our road network has reached 9,715, with a total length of 745 km.
