(Çorlu-Ergene) Intersection - Tekirdağ Road
The entire 23 km long (Çorlu-Ergene) Intersection - Tekirdağ Road, which supports the development of Çorlu district, a region growing with organized industrial investments and serving both national and international traffic, was opened to road users on February 9, 2020, in a 2x2 lane divided road standard.
With the opening of the road passing as a bypass to the west of Çorlu and Ergene districts, and the removal of heavy truck traffic from within the districts, the existing urban traffic load has been relieved, providing road users with a safe and comfortable transportation opportunity.
The project has reduced travel times, lowered the exhaust emissions from vehicles, saved on maintenance and operational costs, and contributed to the regional and national economy through savings in fuel and depreciation expenses.
