Hayrabolu-Tekirdağ Highway
The 13 km section of the 45.7 km long Hayrabolu-Tekirdağ Highway, which connects Hayrabolu and the surrounding residential areas to Tekirdağ with high standards, was opened to traffic on November 28, 2020.
The transformation of the entire existing road from single-lane standard to a divided highway will provide fast access to Kapıkule and major markets for Tekirdağ Port and the industrial zones in the region. This will significantly boost the development of the region and its contribution to the national economy.
With the full opening of the road, the travel time will be reduced from 40 minutes to 30 minutes, resulting in savings of 16.5 million TL in time and 6.5 million TL in fuel, amounting to a total savings of 23 million TL.
